Rickie Fowler is all about that #JupLife in Jupiter, Florida, these days. Once upon a time in his PGA Tour career, however, Fowler stayed in a condo at TPC Summerlin.

He’s plenty comfortable with this week’s Shriners Hospitals for Children Open venue, having practiced there often and having played the tournament four times.

The comfortable setting has allowed him to produce results of T-7 in 2009 (67-64-69-68), T-22 in 2010 (68-64-68-70), T-25 in 2015 (72-65-70-68) and T-4 in 2018 (68-67-69-63). That’s a combined 56-under in 16 rounds if you’re scoring at home.

Buyer beware as Fowler is shaking off the rust from five weeks off after the Tour Championship in August.

The 30-year-old won in 2019 at the Waste Management Phoenix Open and had seven top-10 finishes in the 2018-19 PGA Tour season. Those include a T-6 at the Open Championship, T-9 at the Masters (he made the cut in all four majors) and T-2 at the Honda Classic.

Fowler led the Tour in strokes gained putting in 2016-17 and was 13th last season (.541). Like a lot of guys I’m going with this week, Fowler can crush it (303.1, 30th) and won’t be penalized too much by wayward driving (60.62%, 122nd).

Rickie is fairly picky with his schedule, so take advantage of him going up against a relatively weak field here in Vegas.
