Fantasy golf fanatics, we’ve got your back. DraftKings has their Final Round Showdown active for the Turkish Airlines Open, and we’ve got your picks.

DraftKings is providing the fantasy golf community with showdown contests for the final round of the Turkish Airlines Open. With that said, let’s take a look at my player selections for this contest!

Before I discuss my player picks, I just wanted to quickly emphasize that that this article is focusing on the final round showdown contest which is vastly different with regard to scoring than the traditional classic contest that DraftKings offers each week.

For those readers that are not aware, the Classic contest offered by DraftKings focuses on an entire golf tournament. In direct contrast to the classic contest, the showdown contest focuses on one round.

If you need a refresher on scoring for final round showdown contests please refer to the DraftKings website.

Let’s shift our focus to my player selections. Here are my player picks for the final round fantasy golf showdown contest!

Matthias Schwab $9,600

The 24 year old Austrian will enter the final round of the Turkish Airlines Open as the leader of the event. This man will be in all of my final round DraftKings showdown contests that I enter for this event.

Why will I have Schwab in all of my lineups? Well, after three rounds, Matthias has compiled a score of 18 under par and leads the event. He currently leads this tournament’s field in par five scoring. Schwab has a very impressive par five scoring average of 3.87 after three rounds! Additionally, he leads the field after three rounds in strokes gained putting (3.00).

Yes, I know that the young Austrian has not won an event yet on the European Tour. I feel strongly that he will get it done in the final round of this event. Let us not forget that Schwab has had five top 10 finishes in his last eight events, including a fourth place finish at last week’s WGC-HSBC Champions in China. Clearly, the Austrian is on the verge of his first win on the European Tour.

Patrick Reed $10,400

Reed has fired two consecutive rounds of 65 as he enters the final round. I think he is highly motivated to win this event so that he can show the world that Tiger Woods made the correct decision in adding him to the President’s Cup team on Friday.

Victor Perez $8,400

It has to be said that Perez is quite simply playing some outstanding golf over the last few months. He won his first tournament on the European Tour in September at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. He also finished fourth in last week’s WGC-HSBC Champions. He enters the final round of the Turkish Airlines Open in seventh place.

Ross Fisher $7,000

He enters the final round of this event in prime position to win his first European Tour event since 2014. Fisher has not had the best season in 2019. However, few can deny that Ross is a very talented golfer. Additionally, I love Fisher’s DraftKings price of only $7,000.

Benjamin  Hebert $6,600

Hebert arrives on the DraftKings final round showdown slate at only $6,600. However, Hebert enters the final round of the event in second place with a three round score of 15 under par. In my opinion, Hebert provides excellent value at such a low cost. Additionally, I think he provides outstanding upside as he has a real chance of winning the event on Sunday.

Next. Why is Paul McGinley calling out Tiger Woods?. dark

Scott Jamieson $6,200

Jamieson is yet another golfer that can provide your DraftKings lineup outstanding cost relief. Scott arrives on the slate at a DraftKings price of only $6,200. More importantly, the man is entering the final round of this event in seventh place. He has the real potential to shoot up the leaderboard on Sunday and win this event.

As always, good luck! Enjoy the final round of the Turkish Airlines Open.
