Next up on the PGA Tour is the RSM Classic at Sea Island. We look into who is going to take the crown this week.

After a weather-delayed finish last week at the Mayakoba, the PGA Tour heads back to the United States to play the RSM Classic.

Although this is the 10th year that this has been played, the first half of its life being called the McGladrey Classic, there is yet to be a repeat winner.

With the golf world’s focus being centered on the DP World Tour over on the European Tour as the Race to Dubai finishes, this is one of the few weeks during the year that the PGA Tour is not center stage.

Last week, 3/8 of our staff were able to bring you a top ten pick, with two picking Abraham Ancer and another taking Billy Horschel, and both players finished T-8th place. Let’s see if we can bring you a winner this week for the RSM Classic.

Webb Simpson +800

Kasey Kuhrts – Webb has only played one PGA tour event so far this season, but it was a top 10 finish at the Shriners. I think he could be in a good position to get a win this weekend in Georgia!

Mike Randleman – I’m going with Webb Simpson. Here is an excerpt on why I think he can win from my weekly power rankings.

A big reason for his success was on the greens. It took him a couple seasons to regain his stroke since the anchored putter ban took effect in 2016. Now, he’s rolling it efficiently ranking fifth in strokes gained putting in 2017-18 (.692) and 11th in 2018-19 (.608).

The southern boy is no stranger to Bermuda greens, either. He’ll be hitting a lot of them if his form in strokes gained on approach (14th, .613) keeps up. His precision off the tee (44th, 66.82%) is useful at Sea Island. Being short off the tee (145th, 288.6) is not a big factor.

Billy Horschel +1400

Bill Felber – Do I need a reason? Because I don’t have one beyond that he’s playing fairly well…but then so are a lot of people… Still, I’ll take Horschel this week.

Cameron Salce

Kathy Bissell

Matt Kuchar +1800

Eric Sedransk

Harris English +2800

Hans Geevers – Although he does not have the greatest of course form at the RSM, there is no denying his current form as he arrives at Sea Island this week. I love his chances to win this event!

Scottie Scheffler +3000

Chris O’Day – I’m going with Scheffler this week. He has become one of my favorite golfers on tour, and for good reason. Other than the Shriners (where he still started 67-67), Scheffler has a T-28th and four top 18 finishes. He started off the season with a T-7th at the Greenbrier, and recently finished T-3rd at Bermuda. I like him to get his first career win this week at the RSM Classic.

Brendon Todd +4000

Richie Randolph – I’ll go with Brendon Todd. It would be an incredible story and the first person to win back-to-back-to-back since Tiger in 2006!

Patton Kizzire +12500

Matt Coles – Taking Patton Kizzire this week!

Best of luck to all of the picks this week at the RSM Classic!
