The highest-placing non-South African on ProGolfNow’s Power Rankings for the Alfred Dunhill Championship is Englishman Ross Fisher.

He currently sits just outside the top 200 in the world, but he made it through to the first step of the European Tour’s final three Rolex Series events, as he featured at the Turkish Airlines Open.

However, the Englishman suffered a steady fall down the rankings over the course of the 2019 season, as he started the campaign inside the top 75 in the world, before falling out of the top 200.

His performance at the Turkish Airlines Open three weeks ago saw him move back inside that mark, after coming home in a tie for 10th on the Sunday afternoon.

Fisher had several top 20 results over the course of the 2019 season, but it was also marred with missed cuts. However, T13 at the Saudi International and the Maybank Championship, T15 at the Betfred British Masters and T17 at the Mutuactivos Open de Espana will all give the Englishman confidence going into the 2020 season.

Fisher could be a dark horse to watch for this week, as the former World No.17 aims to boost himself back up the OWGR list as the year progresses.
