The highest-ranked golfer on Pro Golf Now’s Power Rankings for the AFRASIA BANK Mauritius Open is another South African, in Justin Harding.

He comes into this event off the back of a solid showing at the Alfred Dunhill Championship last week, where he finished in a tie for 7th, alongside Lombard and a couple of other golfers.

Harding, who has been inside the top 50 of the Official World Golf Rankings in the past, has featured on both the European Tour and PGA TOUR over the past twelve months, notching up nine top ten finishes, including last week’s T7 result on home soil.

Harding won the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters at Education City Golf Club in March, and also had top five results at the ISPS Handa Vic Open, Magical Kenya Open presented by Absa and last year’s AFRASIA BANK Mauritius Open.

The South African finished in solo 4th at this event last year, in what was the only time he actually made the cut on the island.

Harding will be hoping that he can continue his great recent form, and pull on memories of a good finish in the country last time out, as he aims for a second win on the European Tour in 2019.
