United States Ryder Cup Team of the Decade for the 2010’s

Jason Dufner – 75% points won (1 appearance)
2012 saw 35-year-old Alabama resident Jason Dufner make his debut in the Ryder Cup, playing on home soil at Medinah in Illinois.
The American came into the event ranked as the World No.9, and as Thomas did six years later, Dufner qualified for the Ryder Cup after finishing third on the points list, behind only Bubba Watson and Tiger Woods.
He started the weekend alongside Zach Johnson in the Friday morning foursomes, and immediately put some red points on the board, defeating Lee Westwood and Francesco Molinari.
24 hours later, and the same partnership earned the same result, this time against Nicolas Colsaerts and Sergio Garcia, as the United States took a commanding lead.
The duo of Dufner and Johnson then fell to a narrow defeat against Rory McIlroy and Ian Poulter in the final pairs session of the weekend at Medinah, but he then showed his class on the final day.
Dufner was one of just three Americans to get a point on Sunday, as Europe pulled off the biggest comeback on United States soil in the Ryder Cup. The Alabama-resident defeated Sweden’s Peter Hanson on the final hole to take the score to 13-13, but the European team had enough to get over the line in the final two matches of the weekend.
Dufner only featured once at the Ryder Cup this decade, but he was the joint-best out of the Americans that weekend in Illinois, earning three points out of his four matches, taking home a 75% points ratio.
