The PGA Tour major season may not start until April, but it is on the minds of golf fans and tour pros year-round. Brooks Koepka has been on a roll, and there are plenty of contenders. Time to take a look at some of the best bets to win pro golf’s biggest trophies this season.

Now that the President Cup, sans Brooks Koepka, is over and the Americans brought home the victory, it is time to focus on the PGA Tour season, more specifically the major championships. One of the more notable quotes from Tiger Woods’ illustrious career is,

"“You can win all the tournaments you want, but the majors are what you’re remembered for. It’s how you’re measured as a champion in our sport. The majors are where it’s at.”"

Everyone knows the major championships are where the money is, and where legends are made year after year. Even Tiger’s comeback was not cemented until last season with his most recent major victory at the Masters.

This year’s majors will undoubtedly provide some of the most memorable moments of the pro golf season and will help catapult players into stardom. There are plenty of budding stars in the game of golf that are looking for their first career major victory and could breakthrough this season.

However, the best bets to take home the hardware are mainly the guys at the top of the world rankings that have been there and done it before. Multiple major winners like Brooks Koepka and Rory McIlroy figure to be favorites, and to be in contention for pretty much every major this season.

The list of venues for this season’s majors will also be a positive this season, with 3 beautiful courses selected alongside the legendary Augusta National. Both coasts will be represented with the PGA Championship being held in San Francisco at TPC Harding Park, and the U.S. Open tees off in New York at Winged Foot Golf Club, along with a trip across the pond to Royal St George’s in Sandwich, Kent.

These are my best predictions for the four major champions this season.
