At the start of his first full season on the European Tour, France’s Antoine Rozner has played some sublime golf, including coming home inside the top three in Mauritius in the second event of the new campaign.

The Frenchman is in his debut season on the European Tour having spent the majority of the last three seasons on the Challenge Tour, Alps Tour, and the Sunshine Tour.

He made his European Tour debut at the AFRASIA BANK Mauritius Open in 2018, where he finished in a tie for 7th, and he was invited back for the same tournament just a few weeks ago, and he made the most of that opportunity.

Rozner ended the week in a tie for the lead at Heritage GC, in only his fifth start on the European Tour. He narrowly missed out in a playoff to Rasmus Højgaard, but the points from that T2 finish see the Frenchman sit in the 6th spot on the Race to Dubai leaderboard.

The World No.179 won twice on the Challenge Tour last year, as well as finishing in the top ten at five other events across both the Challenge Tour and the Pro Golf Tour.

Rozner will be aiming to keep his solid run of form going, on a continent he seems to play his best golf on, and he could be another in with a shout for the title in Johannesburg come Sunday afternoon.
