Like Oosthuizen, England’s Tommy Fleetwood is also in great form, having finished inside the top eight at four of his last eight tournaments, including taking a victory at the Nedbank Golf Challenge hosted by Gary Player in November.

He had a chance to take home the Race to Dubai prize at the end of the DP World Tour Championship, but finished runner-up to Jon Rahm, who eventually took the season-long spoils, with Fleetwood finishing in 2nd spot, so close to a second crown after his 2017 season win.

He also finished in T5 at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship and T8 at the Omega European Masters in that run of form, along with several other top-ten finishes throughout the 2019 campaign, on both the PGA and European Tours.

The Englishman has a T3 result at the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard, T5 at the PLAYERS Championship, T8 at the Betfred British Masters, 2nd at the British Open Championship at Royal Portrush and T4 at the WGC-FedEx St.Jude Invitational.

Fleetwood is currently England’s second highest-ranked golfer in the world, behind only Justin Rose, and he showed his prowess at the Ryder Cup in September in that epic partnership with Francesco Molinari.

Now, though, he has gone away to recover and reset over Christmas, and he will be looking to continue that run of form that he ended the 2019 season with. He won this event back in 2018, and he will be hoping to do the same this week in Abu Dhabi.
