Brandt Snedeker’s trophy case has been bolstered by the Pebble Beach Pro-Am. He won twice in a three-year span by sealing the deal in 2013 (66-68-68-65) and 2015 (64-67-67-67).

Snedeker is known as a great player in the wind and tough conditions. He handles this event’s usually cool, windy weather with aplomb. In 14 starts at Pebble Beach counting the last two US Opens, Sneds has made 10 cuts and finished T-36 or better nine times. He has four top-10s, including solo fourth in 2017.

Snedeker annually has a comfortable pairing with his amateur playing partner, Nashville businessman, Toby Wilt.

"I love the greens here, I love the golf courses, the greens are poa annua, which I’m a big fan of,” Snedeker said in 2015. “And I love the format. I have played the last four years with a good friend.”"

A missed cut at last week’s Phoenix Open is the only blip on what’s otherwise been a solid 2019-2020 season.

The 39-year-old finished T-3 at the Farmers Insurance Open for his top finish among three top-20s in five starts.

Last season, he had six top-10s. He ranked third in strokes gained around the green (.48) and 12th in SG putting (.592). That type of craftiness is useful as even the best ball strikers are bound to miss Pebble’s small greens.
