The second of several Australians on our Power Rankings for this week’s event is Min Woo Lee, who will be looking forward to playing on home soil once more.

He currently sits just outside the top 50 on this season’s Race to Dubai leaderboard, thanks to a T3 finish at the Australian PGA Championship. He then followed that up with a T15 result at the South African Open hosted by the City of Johannesburg in his first appearance of 2020.

Across the last two seasons, the Australian has featured on a plectra of different golfing tours around the world, including the European Tour, the PGA Tour of Australasia and the Asian Tour.

In that time period, Lee has six top-ten finishes, including that T3 at the Australian PGA Championship in December. Three weeks prior to that, he also finished in 3rd place at the AVJennings NSW Open on the PGA Tour of Australasia.

Two years ago to the week, Lee came home in T5 at the 2018 ISPS Handa World Super 6 Perth. A year later, he finished in 4th at the Saudi International powered by SBIA, before a second consecutive T5 result in Perth.

The Australian also has a top ten finish on the Korean Tour over the last year, as he came home in a tie for 6th at the Genesis Championship in October.

It seems that Lee likes playing on home soil, and this could be the perfect stage for the Australian to take a first professional victory.
