Up Next…
After a week off, the European Tour will return on Thursday, February 20, in an event co-sanctioned with the PGA TOUR, the WGC-Mexico Championship.
After that, the European Tour will continue on its ‘desert swing’, with events in Oman and Qatar, before the Magical Kenya Open and Hero Indian Open take place ahead of the second World Golf Championships event of the season.
The Dell Technologies Match Play will be held between March 25-29, and then, following a week off, the first major of the year’s takes place, with the Masters bringing the best of the best together at Augusta National, with the players all in search of the Green Jacket.
Following that, there is then a run of 15 straight weeks with an event, which includes the remaining three major championships, the US PGA Championship, U.S. Open, and the British Open Championship. The GolfSixes Cascais will also take place in that spell, one of the quirkier events on the calendar.
Up next, though, it is the WGC-Mexico Championship, with the world’s best golfers heading to Chapultepec GC in Mexico City, with the hopes of winning the first World Golf Championships tournament of 2020.
Dustin Johnson has won three of the last five editions of the tournament, dating back to when the event was held at Doral in Florida, and was under the guise of the Cadillac Championship. The last European golfer to take the victory at this event was Justin Rose, who did so back in 2012.
