14. 2013 Arnold Palmer Invitational

It will become a pattern on this list that Woods has a preference for certain courses. In addition to Torrey Pines and Firestone Country Club, Woods has had a great deal of success at Bay Hill over the years.

At the Arnold Palmer Invitational in 2013, Woods found himself in position to win the event for the eighth time, which tied Sam Snead’s record for most times winning a particular tournament. His 13-under par score gave him a two-shot win over Justin Rose and marked the 77th PGA Tour win in his career.

The win would be the first of five for Woods during the 2013 season and it moved Woods back into the top spot in the Official World Golf Rankings.

Woods had to come from behind to get it done on this particular week. Rose fired a sparkling 7-under par round of 65 in the first round, while Woods shot a 3-under par 69. On Friday, Rose and Woods both shot 2-under par rounds of 70, so the Englishman headed to the weekend with a four-shot advantage.

As Tiger would do on numerous occasions, he had a big round on Saturday. His 6-under par 66 gave him a two-shot lead over Rose heading to Sunday’s final round.

On Sunday, Woods shot a 2-under par round to win by two and to claim his eighth title at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
