This Thursday, the PGA Tour presents the fantasy golf community with the Charles Schwab Challenge! This event will be played at one of the most prestigious golf courses on the PGA Tour schedule (Colonial Country Club).

Before I dive into my FanDuel/fantasy golf player selections I wanted to clearly emphasize that I am not providing a specific lineup. The intent of this article is to provide multiple player options in an attempt to assist the reader in generating a unique lineup that will hopefully have the potential to win a FanDuel GPP (guaranteed prize pool) contest.

Here are my FanDuel player selections for the Charles Schwab Challenge!

Jon Rahm $11,900

The 25-year-old Spaniard is without question one of the best golfers on the planet. Let me provide some clear and transparent data to support my previous statement. Rahm has played 11 PGA Tour events since the United States Open in June of 2019. In those 11 tournaments played, Rahm has an impressive 11 top 17 finishes, including a third place result at the WGC-Mexico Championship in February.

Rahm also checks the box for me when it comes to previous tournament history. Jon Rahm has two previous top five finishes at this event, including a second place result at the 2017 Charles Schwab Challenge.

Webb Simpson $11,400

Prior to the Tour’s stoppage of play due to the COVID-19 virus, Simpson competed in three golf tournaments in 2020. In those three events played, Simpson has two top three finishes, including a win at the Waste Management Phoenix Open.

Daniel Berger $9,700

Berger arrives at this week’s event on the heels of three consecutive top nine finishes on the PGA Tour including a fourth place result at the Honda Classic in March.

Maverick McNealy $9,200

He currently ranks 11th in scrambling (66.90%) and 24th in strokes gained putting (.528) on the PGA Tour. McNealy also finished 11th at the Honda Classic in March.

Danny Lee $8,700

Danny Lee has played the Charles Schwab Challenge six times previously. In those six events played, Lee has never missed the cut. He also has four previous top 22 finishes at the Charles Schwab Challenge. It should be noted that Lee finished fifth at the Arnold Palmer Invitational in March.

Tom Hoge $8,300

He has five top 25 finishes on the PGA Tour in 2020, including a 15th place result at the Arnold Palmer Invitational in March. Hoge finished 17th at the 2016 Charles Schwab Challenge.

As always, good luck with your fantasy golf lineups! If you have any player specific questions feel free to contact me on Twitter at @geeversgolf.
