Last week three of my five fantasy golf sleeper selections made the cut in the Dominican, led by my 6k selections. Ryan Brehm, priced at $6,800, and Rhein Gibson, priced at $6,400, both finished top 35. Gibson had the best finish of any of my selections, finishing in a tie for 21st.

This week the PGA Tour heads to Mississippi for the Sanderson Farms Championship. The field this week is much stronger than last week, so even the casual fantasy golf fan will see many names they recognize.

As always, check out Hans Geevers’ full lineup picks that he posts each and every week. Hans’ article is also great for reading about the course, and how he believes it will play.

And of course, as always in my articles, I am only looking at players under the average Draftkings salary of $8,333. Finding value is the most important thing when selecting your lineup, so I hope to bring you some solid options.

Along with the key stats Hans mentioned, I will be looking at strokes gained on approach, scoring average, and par 4 efficiency 400-450 yards, due to six of the ten par 4’s playing inside 400-450 yards. Here are my selections:

Cameron Davis- $8,100

Davis is my only 8k selection this week, and I think he’s one of the better options in the entire range.

Last season Davis finished 24th in ball striking, 41st in greens in regulation, 68th in strokes gained on approach, 73rd in scoring average, and tied for 79th in par 4 efficiency 400-450 yards.

Davis is also off to a fast start this season, sitting tied for 23rd in greens in regulation, and 54th in strokes gained on approach.

Davis is also on a hot streak. He hasn’t missed a cut since the Workday Charity Open, nearly three months ago. In that time, he has finished T12, T15, T29, and T36 in his four events played.

Russell Knox- $7,500

My first 7k selection this week comes from the middle of the range. Russell is off to a fast start so far in this new season, finishing tied for ninth at the Safeway Open in the beginning of September.

Knox finished last season 23rd in greens in regulation, 26th in strokes gained on approach, tied for 38th in ball striking, and 82nd in scoring average.

After his solid performance at the Safeway Open, Knox sits second on tour in greens in regulation this season. He hit 60 of the possible 72 greens in that event.

Cameron Tringale- $7,300

A lower 7k option you should consider this week is Cameron Tringale. Tringale is priced ridiculously low for a guy who has made three straight cuts at this event, including a top 20 finish last year.

Last season Tringale finished 8th in strokes gained on approach, tied for 12th in par 4 efficiency 400-450, 28th in greens in regulation, 56th in scoring average, and 76th in ball striking.

Although Tringale missed the cut at the Safeway Open, I wouldn’t be concerned about him this week in Mississippi.

Kyle Stanley- $6,900

My first 6k selection this week is Kyle Stanley. Stanley has made his first two cuts of the new season, including tying for 28th last week in the Dominican.

Last season Stanley finished 2nd in greens in regulation, tied for 26th in ball striking, tied for 30th in par 4 efficiency 400-450 yards, and tied for 45th in strokes gained on approach.

In his two events this season, Stanley is tied for 23rd in greens in regulation and 43rd in strokes gained on approach.

Getting a player who hits greens as well as Stanley at under 7k is a steal.

Wesley Bryan- $6,300

If you are new to my articles you will shortly learn, this is pretty much a Wesley Bryan fanpage. Once again, I think Wesley is extremely undervalued, and this is why.

In his four events last season, Wesley hit 74.31% of greens in his 16 total rounds. He also gained a total of 20.536 strokes on approach in those rounds.

Although Wesley missed the cut at the Safeway, he still hit 72.22% of greens, which I believe is the most important stat this week.

At $6,300 you can’t find a better option for a made cut this week in Mississippi.

Well they there are, my sleepers and undervalued selections of the week. Hopefully some of these players will make their way into your lineups, and win you some money!
