4. Vijay Singh

There was a time in the early 2000s when Singh was in the same class, at the Masters, as Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods. His run from 2000 through 2006 was quite remarkable. He won in 2000, then went T18, 7, T6, T6, T5, T8. That’s six top 10 finishes in seven years, including a win. All of that while going toe to toe with two of the greatest players of all time, both of whom have won multiple green jackets.

Singh has played in the Masters 26 times and has made 19 cuts. He has finished in the top 25 on 11 occasions.

He has not been as good in recent years. Singh missed the cut last year, was 49th in 2018 and also missed the cut in 2017 and 2016. His best finish in the last 10 years was a tie for 27th in 2012.

Still, the three-time major champion plays solid golf, despite the fact that he is now 57 years old. He has had some success on the PGA Tour Champions, winning four times. His last win on that tour came in 2018.

Singh is not going to contend this week but if everything went his way, he could play the weekend.
