No. 5 Phil Mickelson (winner in 2004, 2006, 2010)

It’s hard to believe, but it’s been 10 years since Mickelson last donned the green jacket. In 2010, he won his third title in seven years, a total that would have been much higher if not for a certain golfer named Tiger Woods.

At the time, Mickelson was just 39 years old and seemed like he could win one, or maybe two more Masters titles. That, of course, never materialized and Mickelson is stuck on three titles, which is a number that almost any other player, ever, would gladly take.

Mickelson has won 44 PGA Tour titles during his Hall of Fame career, including those three Masters titles. He also claimed a PGA Championship (2005) and an Open Championship (2013).

But the Masters has been the place where Mickelson has been stellar. Just how good has he been at Augusta National? Lefty has played the Masters 27 times and has made the cut 24 times. He has finished in the top 10 on 15 occasions.

Mickelson is now 50 years old but he’s still got some life left in his game. He has struggled on the PGA Tour the last couple of years. But if he is going to put his game together, this would be the week for him to do it. He loves the course and has always played well at Augusta National. He could certainly contend again.
