Last week the PGA Tour was off for the holiday, but they return this week in Mexico. El Camaleon Golf Club with host the tour as the players compete in the Mayakoba Golf Classic. In my last article for the Masters, four of my five fantasy golf selections made the cut, highlighted by Cameron Smith, who finished in second.

As always, check out Hans Geevers full-lineup picks that he posts each and every week. Hans’ article is also great for reading about the course, and how he believes it will play. You will find one of his Mayakoba fantasy golf selections on my sleeper list as well.

And of course, as always in my articles, I am only looking at players under the average DraftKings salary of $8,333. Finding value is the most important thing when selecting your lineup, so I hope to bring you some solid options.

Along with the key stats Hans will be looking at, I will be focusing on strokes gained on approach, greens in regulation, strokes gained putting, driving accuracy, birdie or better percentage, and total birdies. Here are my selections:

Patton Kizzire $8,000

My 8K selection of the week is Patton Kizzire. Patton returns to Mexico where he got his first PGA Tour victory back in 2017. However, that doesn’t have much to do with me selecting him this week.

Patton has been playing really good golf so far this season, and especially of late. In his last three events, Kizzire finished T24 at Shriners, T11 at the Houston Open, and T10 at the RSM Classic.

So far this season, Patton sits T13 in total birdies, 24th in strokes gained putting, and 31st in birdie or better percentage.

Sepp Straka $7,600

My first 7K selection of the week is Sepp Straka. Like Kizzire, Straka has his game in good form. Straka has made 6/7 cuts so far on the new season, highlighted by a T14 at the Safeway Open, and a T5 at the Houston Open.

Straka currently sits 3rd in total birdies on tour, 29th in both strokes gained on approach and birdie or better percentage, and 67th in greens in regulation.

Peter Malnati $7,300

One of Hans’ picks, and my second 7K selection is Peter Malnati. Malnati cannot be stopped so far this season. He already has two top-five finishes this season, 2nd at Sanderson Farms and T5 at Shriners, and has only missed one cut so far this season.

Malnati is the only one of my selections who sits inside the top-100 on tour in all six of my key stats. He sits 4th in strokes gained putting, 8th in total birdies, 10th in birdie or better percentage, 48th in strokes gained on approach, 57th in greens in regulation, and 89th in driving accuracy.

For the way he has been playing this season, he is severely underpriced.

Brian Stuard $6,900

Brian Stuard is my first 6K selection this week. Stuard returns to Mexico after finishing 23rd last season. He also finished 9th in 2018.

Stuard currently sits 28th in both driving accuracy and total birdies, 37th in strokes gained on approach, 90th in greens in regulation, and 91st in birdie or better percentage.

Wesley Bryan $6,600

The Wesley Bryan fan club is back! Wesley is once again priced in the 6K range, and he’s a great play this week.

Bryan currently sits 39th in strokes gained putting, 40th in strokes gained on approach, T52 in greens in regulation, and T78 in birdie or better percentage.

Well they there are, my sleeper and undervalued selections of the week. Hopefully, some of these players will make their way into your lineups, and win you some money!
