Paige Spiranac has proven to be one of the more popular golf figures on social media in recent years. But she was left out of the FanSided 250.

The FanSided 250 was released on Tuesday and professional golfers, both men and women, were completely snubbed. This includes one of the hottest current follows on social media, Paige Spiranac.

Spiranac played college golf at the University of Arizona and San Diego State University. After college, she turned pro and made a run at playing in the professional ranks.

While her game was very good, it was her good looks that got most of the attention. Spiranac quickly became a social media favorite with her trick shot videos, which drew the audience to her.

Spiranac tried to get on a pro circuit, and her social media actually helped her in that. She was able to get a sponsor’s invite in December of 2015, when she played in the Omega Dubai Ladies Classic, where she missed the cut.

She came back the next season and played in the Ladies Scottish Open, where she made the cut and finished 58th. Later that year, she tried to play on the developmental Cactus Tour, where she did well, but was unable to make a lot of money playing golf.

Later in 2016, Spiranac tried to play on the LPGA Tour, but was unable to earn her tour card. She returned to the LET later than year and missed the cut in Dubai.

From there, Spiranac decided it might be best to focus on her brand rather than her golf game. And that has worked very well for her.

Spiranac draws eyes to her social media because of her good looks and her revealing outfits. This is how she has developed a following that includes 377,000 Twitter followers and 2.9 million Instagram followers. Those are not small numbers.

Still just 27 years old, Spiranac figures to gain more followers as the years move forward. In addition to her looks, she has proven to be witty, funny and engaging on social media. This bodes well for her future.

While Spiranac not being on this list is not a huge snub, there is an argument that could be made that she does belong on this list. Her popularity continues to grow and figures to continue to do so in the near future.
