Arnold Palmer/Bay Hill Invitational

Like he has done at Jack Nicklaus’ event at the Memorial Tournament, Woods has also had a great deal of success at Arnold Palmer’s event at Bay Hill. It’s a site where he has won an amazing eight times.

Woods first won Arnie’s event in 2000, when he shot 18-under par. That was good enough for a four-shot win over Davis Love III.

The next year, Woods was at it again, winning for the second time at Bay Hill. He held off Phil Mickelson by a single shot.

Woods made it three in a row the following year by winning at Bay Hill again. His 13-under par total was good for a four-shot win over Michael Campbell.

In 2003, Woods won his fourth straight Bay Hill Invitational title, and he did it in amazing fashion. Woods won by an amazing 11 shots over Stewart Cink, Brad Faxon, Kenny Perry and Kirk Triplett.

Woods did not win again at Bay Hill until 2008, when the event was called the Arnold Palmer Invitational. That year, Woods held off Bart Bryant for a one-shot win.

Tiger repeated at Bay Hill by winning again in 2009. It was another one-shot win, this time over Sean O’Hair.

In March of 2012, it had been more than two years since Woods had won on tour. What better site than Bay Hill to break that streak, which is what he did. Tiger won by five strokes over Graeme McDowell.

Tiger would win for an eighth time at Bay Hill in 2013. His 13-under par total was good enough for a two-shot win over Justin Rose.
