I’m going to take a shot near the top of the board this week and while I also like Xander quite a bit it’s Rahm who I am going to back.  The Spaniard has finished no worse than 7th in each of his last three starts and as previously mentioned has three top-ten finishes at the Waste Management Phoenix Open in his past five starts in Arizona.

Jon uncharacteristically lost strokes with his short game last week, a part of his game that is normally superb. Meanwhile, Rahm was excellent with his irons last week gaining almost three strokes.

Jon went to school nearby at Arizona State University so it seems that it is only a matter of time before a player with his class wins in Phoenix.
