It had been a struggle over the last two years for the man who was once in the final group with Tiger Woods at the Masters and The Open Champion back in 2018.

Things have finally begun to turn around for Molinari who now lives in California with his family. The Italian’s form started to come back around in Houston last year and has continued over into the early part of 2021 so far.

Molinari has begun his 2021 campaign with two top-ten finishes in two starts, this includes the 10th place at the Farmers two weeks ago. The irons have been excellent over these two starts and his game should be perfectly suited for these short courses this week.  Having won an Open championship, Francesco has shown that he can play in the wind should that come to be a factor as well this week.

Even though he has not played at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am previously, Francesco has played Pebble back at the U.S. Open in 2019 when he finished tied for 16th.
