10. Webb Simpson, -0.31

Simpson has made 17 starts since the restart, among them a victory at the RBC Heritage. He has five other top 10s, including a tie for third at the Wyndham and a tie for fourth at the Sony.

He’s missed only two cuts, and both came early. He checked out at the Schwab and again three starts later at the Memorial.

His 68.375 scoring average since the restart includes four rounds of 64, one of which – in the final round of the Heritage – won him the event.

Of his 64 post-restart rounds, Simpson has posted only six rounds above 72, only three of those coming in the last eight months.

Statistically, his best showing came at his RBC Heritage victory. He finished that event with a 262 score that measured 2.14 standard deviations better than the field average. He was 1.75 standard deviations better than the field in tying for third at the Wyndham and 1.6 standard deviations superior to the field at the Sony in January in Hawaii.

Even when Simpson hasn’t contended, he’s represented. Aside from those two early missed cuts, he’s had only three finishes outside the top 20: ties for 37th at the PGA and RSM and a tie for 42 at last week’s Waste Management.
