The Favorites at the WGC Workday Championship

The odds used in this article can be found online at popular betting sites, for more information on the best odds and sportsbook’s available locally to you check out The Action Network

Dustin Johnson+525  remains the clear-cut favorite this week even after a disappointing final round on Sunday at Riviera. Jon Rahm+900 follows DJ as the second favorite this week after a solid closing round on Sunday that saw him place top five at the Genesis.

Last week’s runner-up Tony Finau+1600 is priced in the next tier along with a handful of players between +1100 and +1800. Xander Schauffele+1100 begins the range along with Patrick Cantlay+1400 who was in contention the majority of last week before a disappointing final round.

Three stars of the game who missed the cut last week close out the top of the board in Rory Mcllroy+1650, Justin Thomas+1850, and Bryson DeChambeau+1850, all of whom will be looking to put last week behind them.

The Midtier

Recent winner Daniel Berger+2200 begins the north of 20/1 range for the week and is joined by several others in this range who have been playing some great golf lately in Tyrrell Hatton+2250 who picked up a win at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship back in January, and Viktor Hovland+2250 who has two top 5’s and a top 10 in four starts in 2021.

Several other big names also can be found in this range this week including, Brooks Koepka+2600, Patrick Reed+3150, Sungjae Im+4500, and Colin Morikawa+4650.

I’ll be keeping it short and simple this week near the top of the board with big names traditionally coming through at these World Golf Championship events, in fact, five of the past eight WGC winners were ranked inside the top three of the world golf rankings at the time of their win.
