The Midtier

Sungjae Im +2250, Paul Casey +2500, Matthew Fitzpatrick +2500, Louis Oosthuizen +2500, and Hideki Matsuyama +2800, are all in the +2000 range this week.

Sungjae was one of the picks for us last week and he does have an excellent track record in Florida and at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, but after struggling last week particularly with his irons it is hard to go back to him right away.

Both Casey and Fitzpatrick are intriguing this week, both have played well in Florida and both are coming into this week on the back of their excellent recent form.

Jordan Spieth +3000 leads off the next range and he will be making his tournament debut at Bay Hill this week after some excellent performances recently.

Other notable names all at or under +5000 this week include Francesco Molinari +3000, Jason Day +3500, Sam Burns +4500, Tommy Fleetwood +4500, and Will Zalatoris +5000.

Molinari has been great to start 2021 with his only finish that did not result in a top 10 finish coming at Pebble Beach last month. The winner here in 2019 also has two other finishes inside the top 10 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.

Both Burns and Zallatoris are coming into this week in excellent form as well, Sam will be looking to rebound after his Sunday collapse at the Genesis Invitational, while Zallatoris look’s to continue his excellent year and build upon his top 25 finish last week.

With the last five winners of the Arnold Palmer Invitational having played the event previously I’ll be focusing on those with experience at Bay Hill, though I’m looking at an American this week to break the European winning trend.
