As you would expect it’s pretty condensed near the top of the board this week with four players opening up in the under +1500 range. World number one Dustin Johnson +1000 leads the way and is followed by two at +1200 in Bryson DeChambeau and Rory Mcllroy before Jon Rahm +1400 closes out this range. Both Rahm and DJ will be looking to rebound following a week off, Rory seems close to piecing it all together, and Bryson is a real threat to make it two wins in a row this week after an excellent performance at Bay Hill.

Viktor Hovland, Xander Schauffele, and Justin Thomas all sit at +1800 this week to close out the under 20 tier. Hovland has been as good as anyone to start 2021, though he did fade in the closing two rounds at the API. It’s tough to want to back Xander in this range with some of the other names around him as his search for another win continues. Thomas is the one I’m looking at for THE PLAYERS this week and it seems we are getting a bit of a discount on him compared to the other top players in the field.

Being such a big event this week there are some big hitters sitting in the Mid-Tier this week as well, including a recent winner on Tour.
