Two names lead the way sub twenty this week with both Daniel Berger +1050 and last year’s Honda Classic Champion Sungjae Im +1300 heading the market. Berger now has three top-ten finishes in his last three starts and after a slow start at THE PLAYERS last week finished strong on his way to 9th place finish at TPC Sawgrass. Sungjae meanwhile has had solid finishes at each Florida event so far in 2021, albeit with uninspiring results. The Korean has had difficulty stringing together four solid rounds recently, but like Berger, he was also able to finish strong last week after a slow start.

Joaquin Niemann +2000Lee Westwood +2250, and Shane Lowry +2900 close out the top tier this week. The Chilean should be well suited for the test presented by PGA National this week having had played well at difficult courses thus far in his young career.

It will be interesting to see how Westwood does this week following a couple of long weeks when he was in contention but came up just short of the victory, it would be reasonable to assume that exhaustion will play a factor at some-point for the Englishman. Lowry comes into this week’s Honda Classic having shown some encouraging signs last week on his way to an 8th place finish at THE PLAYERS. The Irishman gained strokes across the board from a stats perspective last week and he is a local to the PGA National area as well.

It would be fair to say that there is really not that much difference between the top and Mid-Tier options this week with the Mid-Tier boasting names such as Adam Scott, Rickie Fowler, Russell Henley, and Keegan Bradley amongst its ranks.
