The Mid-Tier at The Honda Classic

Both Adam Scott +3000 and Russell Henley +3000 begin the middle tier range with both having had won the Honda Classic previously. Both players will be hoping for a good result this week that can help kick-start their year.

Talor Gooch +3500Keegan Bradley +4000, and Cameron Tringale +4000 close out the +4000 and under range. Gooch is fresh off a very impressive performance at TPC Sawgrass last week where he was well in contention for much of Sunday’s round before finishing 5th. The American has had some solid results at PGA National over the past couple of years as well that is highlighted by a 20th place finish back in 2019.

Cameron Davis, Rickie Fowler, Chris Kirk, and Brendan Steele, can all be found at +4500 to close out the Mid-Tier range. This is a course that should set up well for the Aussie Cameron Davis’s game, and after a made cut in his first start at The Honda Classic he followed that up with an 8th place finish at PGA National last year.

Kirk has flashed some form thus far in 2021 with results that include two 16th place finishes and an 8th in three of his last five starts and for a while last week it looked like he was going to challenge for the victory at THE PLAYERS before a torrid seven over final round on Sunday ended that dream.

Both Fowler and Steele have good history at the Honda Classic though both have been searching for form in recent starts, with Rickie imparticular really struggling in recent months.

A tough course with two clear favorites and a weakened field lends itself to taking a chance with some long-shots this week but not before taking a shot with one near the top of the board this week.
