It’s crazy to think Bryson DeChambeau has only played in one WGC-Match Play. He just barely missed out on qualifying in 2018 and was world No. 5 by the end of the year.

The former SMU Mustang made it in 2019 and the 2020 event was canceled due to the pandemic.

DeChambeau is known for his match-play prowess that helped him win the 2015 U.S. Amateur.

His one trip to Austin Country Club in 2019 saw him go 1-2 in group play and miss the bracket.

I like DeChambeau to take care of business in his group.

Tommy Fleetwood was a menace in head-to-head play at the 2018 Ryder Cup. He hasn’t been himself since, going winless worldwide since 2019 and struggling in the U.S.

Si Woo Kim is a hot and cold player who hadn’t had a top-10since his win in Palm Springs until last week.

Antoine Rozner is coming in off a win at the European Tour’s Qatar Masters, his second in as many years. That’s impressive for the Frenchman, though he will have his work cut out for him in his first WGC.

I remind you it is March where madness can exist outside of basketball, too.

I see DeChambeau bowing out in a close one to Tony Finau in a battle of the bombers.

Finau has been on a hot streak of late and has something to prove with all the criticisms of his lack of wins. He won’t care if it comes in match play.

Meanwhile, DeChambeau will be working on what he needs to do to have a better performance than last coming up at Augusta National.
