The RBC Heritage gets underway at Harbour Town Golf Links on Thursday. There are some attractive pairings for the Thursday and Friday rounds. Our picks for groups to watch are below.

Billy Horschel, Dustin Johnson, Will Zalatoris (Thursday, 8:17 ET; Friday, 1:07 ET) – Horschel won the WGC-Match Play event recently and made the cut at the Masters last week. DJ was defending his title at Augusta last week, but was not around on the weekend, except to present Hideki Matsuyama with the green jacket. Zalatoris was second at the Masters last week and continues to show immense talent for such a young player.

Patrick Cantlay, Sergio Garcia, Collin Morikawa (Thursday, 1:07 ET; Friday, 8:17 ET) – Cantlay was, well, awful last week at Augusta. He will be looking for a big bounce back. Garcia also missed the cut at Augusta but has played well so far this season. Morikawa played the weekend in the Masters but was never really in contention.

Paul Casey, Corey Conners, Webb Simpson (Thursday, 12:56 ET; Friday, 8:06 ET) – Casey has been solid over the last six months and looks to continue that trend at Harbour Town this week. Conners was very solid at Augusta last week, continuing his hot play. Simpson won here last year and has also finished second.

Matthew Fitzpatrick, Branden Grace, Matt Kuchar (Thursday, 8:06 ET; Friday, 12:56 ET) – Fitzpatrick is an underrated player who continues to do big things. Grace won this event in 2016 and has been playing better lately. Kuchar was a winner here in 2014 and was second two years ago.

Abraham Ancer, Patrick Rodgers, Lee Westwood (Thursday, 12:01 ET; Friday, 7:11 ET) – Ancer was the runner-up to Simpson here last year and is a rising star in the game. Westwood had a bad week at Augusta last week but has a pair of runner-up finishes on the tour already this season. Rodgers had made just nine cuts in 19 starts so far this season and is still looking for his first Top 10 of the season.
