Abraham Ancer

Abraham Ancer has quietly put together an extremely impressive résumé throughout his five seasons as a member of the PGA Tour.

In 20 events this season, Ancer has made 18 cuts and racked up 14 top-25 finishes. Ancer currently sits at No. 14 in the FedEx Cup standings, which puts him in a great position to secure a spot in the Tour Championship as the season begins to wind down.

Ancer does not rank near the top of many categories on the PGA Tour, but his ability to keep his shots safe is almost unmatched by anyone else on tour.

Averaging just over 290 yards per drive, Ancer is one of the shorter players on tour. However, more than 72% of Ancer’s drives find the fairway, which ranks third on the PGA Tour, behind only Brendon Todd and Brian Stuard. In addition, Ancer ranks No. 12 on tour in greens in regulation percentage and No. 25 in birdie average.

In just five seasons and 116 events on the PGA Tour, Ancer has made the weekend 82 times and amassed a total of 43 top-25 finishes. In terms of consistently competing on the PGA Tour, Ancer is among the best there is. With so much success, it is only a matter of time before the 30-year old Mexican-American breaks through for a PGA Tour victory.
