Hear me out, golf fans, having someone to excite the teams and crowds at Ryder Cups would build on the already incredible atmosphere this event brings.

These national events between Team USA and Team Europe already bring in the most exciting crowds in all golf — with the Waste Management folks close behind them.

So why not build off that atmosphere and make it even better?

We saw at the Solheim Cup with Amanda Balionis man the mic and do the introductions on the first tee. Those videos were incredible and provided people who weren’t there a feeling of the event’s atmosphere.

Think about if someone was on the microphone introducing the men each day and hype the crowds up in the grandstands? This atmosphere is electric in itself, but adding more fun to it can only make it better.

There could be karaoke between tee times, chants like you see at football games. Honestly, the possibilities are endless.

The hype person could even talk about the fantastic outfits the fans from both sides wear and interview them. This person could be the go-to individual for fun and excitement. After all the tee times finish, they could go around the course and keep the fun going.

Another way a hype person could help is by being assigned to a team. So there would be a Team USA hype person and a Team Europe one. Their duties would be to fire up their teams for the day and get the juices flowing. This event brings out rivalries we didn’t know we needed, but if there were someone there to help make people excited and happy, that would be awesome.

Not every Ryder Cup team member is excited to be there this year, so if someone could help him out, maybe that would help the team out as a whole.

Hype people are there to bring more excitement to sporting events. They do it for basketball games, sometimes football games, it just depends.

With the Ryder Cup being one of the only golf events that encourage cheering and stuff, adding a person in charge of keeping the atmosphere good would do nothing but make it better.
