Cameron Tringale’s made four straight cuts at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and seven out of 10.

His best result came last year when he earned T-7th in 2021. Tringale posted 72 in round two at Spyglass Hill and 67, 69, and 67 at Pebble Beach. In the three rounds at Pebble, he led the field in strokes gained putting (6.299) and was T-8th in SG approach (4.25). Tringale was also 5-for-5 in sand saves through all four rounds.

Some players get annoyed being saddled with amateurs all week. Foursomes playing a challenging set of courses makes for long rounds.

Tringale claims he enjoys the amateur side of things, which can be a good psychological boost.

“I always love the amateurs,” Tringale was transcribed by ASAP Sports in 2021. “I find it relaxing.”

The 34-year-old Californian by way of Mission Viejo is often regarded as the best, if not at least the most accomplished player without a PGA Tour win.

Tringale’s come tantalizingly close in recent years. The Georgia Tech alum owns eight top-10s since 2020.

He played well last year, finishing T-3rd at the Valspar Championship, T-2nd at the Zozo Championship, and T-7th at the Houston Open, among other high finishes.

Tringale brushed off a missed cut at The American Express two weeks ago by claiming T-3rd at the Farmers Insurance Open against a much tougher field than what he’ll face this week.

He ranked 29th in SG around the green (.242) and 16th in SG putting (.48) last season on the PGA Tour. Tringale was also 26th in birdie average (4.11) and 21st in scoring average (70.11).

While Tringale is not a favorite among bettors seeking out a winner, he’s become a fan favorite among daily fantasy players for his consistency.
