10. Marc Leishman (-1.95)

Leishman’s four PGA West Coast starts included three top 20 finishes, making him one of the more consistent players since Jan. 1.

He tied for 10th at the Sentry Tournament of Champions (-0.10), for 16th at the Farmers (-0.90), and for 15th at the Genesis (-0.59). The closest he came to a slipup was a tie for 36th at the Sony in Honolulu (+0.14).

Those four experiences grossed him $545,000 in official earnings.

9. Billy Horschel (-2.05)

Horschel teed it up four times during the West Coast swing and acquitted himself decently every time.

His best finish was a tie for sixth at the WM Phoenix Open (-1.43). He just missed the top 10 at the Farmers, tying for 11th (-1.10).

At the Sentry Tournament of Champions track meet, Horschel still managed a tie for 23rd. But the standard deviation of his score (+0.34) illustrates how juiced the top of that field was; normally a top 25 finish would ensure no worse than a modestly negative –which is to say helpful – standard deviation.

By contrast, his fourth outing, a tie for 36th at the Sony, only translated to a +0.14 standard deviation.

During the PGA West Coast swing, Horschel grossed $618,380.
