This week, the PGA Tour presents fantasy golf fans with the 2022 Wells Fargo Championship. Let’s take a look at this week’s PGA Tour event from a DFS perspective!

Before I discuss my fantasy golf player selections I wanted to emphasize that the purpose of this article is not to provide an exact lineup for a specific fantasy provider. Having stated that, this article will provide multiple player options in an effort to assist the reader in generating a unique lineup that will hopefully have the potential to win a GPP (guaranteed prize pool) contest!

Here are my fantasy golf/DFS player selections for the 2022 Wells Fargo Championship.

2022 Wells Fargo Championship DFS/Fantasy Golf Player Selections

Corey Conners

In my opinion, Corey Conners is without a doubt the best golfer in this week’s field. Let me provide you with some relevant data to better shed light on my previous statement. Let’s start with Corey Conners’ current form. Conners has accumulated two consecutive top 12 finishes, including a sixth-place result at the 2022 Masters last month.

In relation to this week’s current listed 2022 Wells Fargo Championship field, in the last 24 rounds played on the PGA Tour, Corey Conners ranks second in strokes gained ball striking, ninth in strokes gained approach, fourth in strokes gained off the tee, and 13th in birdie or better percentage.

Adam Long

The 34-year-old American arrives at this week’s 2022 Wells Fargo Championship on the heels of two consecutive top 15 finishes on the PGA Tour, including a 15th-place result at the 2022 Mexico Open at Vidanta.

Due to the fact that Adam Long performed so well at last week’s 2022 Mexico Open at Vidanta, I decided to take a hard look at the player statistics for the tournament to see how Adam Long measured up relative to the field.

Upon completion of four rounds of competitive play at the 2022 Mexico Open at Vidanta, in relation to the field, Adam Long ranked second in driving accuracy (80.8%) and 16th in GIR (greens in regulation-72.2%)

Anirban Lahiri

Anirban Lahiri arrives at this week’s PGA Tour event in rather good form. Lahiri has accumulated three top 15 finishes in his last four tournaments played, including a second-place result at the 2022 Players Championship in March.

In relation to this week’s current listed 2022 Wells Fargo Championship field, in the last 12 rounds played on the PGA Tour, Anirban Lahiri ranks fourth in GIR (greens in regulation) and sixth in strokes gained on par fours.

Next. Rickie Fowler And The Shadow Of His Former Self. dark

Cameron Percy

The Australian has accumulated two top-seven finishes in his last three events played on the PGA Tour, including a fourth-place result at the 2022 Corales Puntacana Championship in March.

Cameron Percy should be a low-cost play on every fantasy golf platform. Having stated that, I think Percy presents outstanding fantasy golf value this week.

Additional golfers I like this week: Keegan Bradley: Max Homa: Matt Fitzpatrick.
