AT&T Byron Nelson: How Much Each Player Earned at TPC Craig Ranch
2022 AT&T Byron Nelson: Breaking down how much prize money each player walked away from TPC Craig Ranch with this week.
The second-ever PGA Tour visit to TPC Craig Ranch for the AT&T Byron Nelson was very similar to the first visit of the PGA here in 2021. The best in the World had no problem taking advantage of easy scoring conditions for the second year in a row this week.
The new home of the AT&T Byron Nelson for the foreseeable future turned into a complete birdie-party once again in 2022. In 2021 TPC Craig Ranch played as one of the easiest stops on the PGA schedule after it yielded a scoring average of nearly 2.5 strokes under par during year one. There was some hope that the Par 72, 7,400 yard plus design, would show its teeth a bit in the second year but that certainly was not the case this week.
The 2022 AT&T Byron Nelson was a complete contrast to what players saw last week at the Wells Fargo Championship where players were made to battle extreme elements and difficult scoring conditions. K.H. Lee won the inaugural edition of TPC Craig Ranch’s version of the Byron Nelson last year with a winning tally of 25 under Par.
This week the margin was very similar as K.H. Lee successfully defended his title finishing with a total of 26 under Par. Lee won for the second time on the PGA Tour this week and much like his win here last year, he once again came from behind firing a closing round 63 (-9) to claim the title.
The top 65 players and ties made the cut this week and competed for a share of this week’s handsome 9 million dollar purse over the weekend. Winner K.H. Lee took home a $1,638,000 dollar prize. Here is a complete breakdown of what each player walked away from this week’s AT&T Byron Nelson with.
