This week, the FedEx Cup playoffs continue at the 2022 BMW Championship. Which golfers will play well? I will do my best to answer that question and provide a fantasy golf perspective regarding this week’s PGA Tour event.

Before I discuss my fantasy golf player selections I wanted to emphasize that the purpose of this article is not to provide an exact lineup for a specific fantasy provider.

Having stated that, this article will provide multiple player options in an effort to assist the reader in generating a unique lineup that will hopefully have the potential to win a GPP (guaranteed prize pool) contest!

Here are my fantasy golf/DFS player selections for the 2022 BMW Championship.

Jon Rahm

Jon Rahm has accumulated three top 12 finishes in his last five tournaments played on the PGA Tour, including a tenth place result at the 2022 Memorial Tournament.

In relation to this week’s current listed 2022 BMW Championship field, in the last 50 rounds played on the PGA Tour, John Rahm ranks second in strokes gained ball striking, first in strokes gained off the tee, and first in GIR (greens in regulation).

Rahm also finished ninth at the 2021 BMW Championship.

Andrew Putnam

Andrew Putnam arrives at this week’s 2022 BMW Championship on the heels of three consecutive top 27 finishes on the PGA Tour, including an 11th place result at the 2022 3M Open four weeks ago.

In relation to this week’s current listed 2022 BMW Championship field, in the last 12 rounds played on the PGA Tour, Andrew Putnam ranks third in strokes gained putting, ninth in bogey avoidance, and eighth in driving accuracy.

Adam Scott

The 42-year-old Australian has accumulated three top 15 finishes in his last five events on the PGA Tour, including a fifth-place result at last week’s FedEx St. Jude Championship.

Due to the fact that Adam Scott performed so well at the 2022 FedEx St. Jude Championship, I decided to take a hard look at Scott’s player statistics relative to the field.

After four rounds of competitive play at the 2022 FedEx St. Jude Championship, in relation to the field, Adam Scott ranked first in strokes gained putting (6.43), 18th in GIR (greens in regulation-68.1%), and 12th in strokes gained around the green (2.32).

Trey Mullinax

Trey Mullinax has accumulated three top 21 finishes in his last four tournaments played, including a win at the 2022 Barbasol Championship last month.

Additional golfers I like this week: Tony Finau: Sungjae Im: Cameron Young.
