Which LIV Team Are You? Check Out LIV Golf’s Latest Attraction
The second season of the LIV Golf series gets underway on Friday at the LIV Golf Invitational Mayakoba and to celebrate the launch of its new campaign, LIV has introduced several interactive fan experiences in an effort to enhance the LIV product even further.
After struggling to even piece together a leaderboard for the website during its debut event last season at the LIV Golf London Invitational, the Tour has taken its website to the next level for 2023.
With the series bound to attract more fans this year, LIV has introduced a nifty little tool to help you decide which of the 12 teams you should put your support behind this year. They call it the ‘Team Picker’ and it’s all a part of the immersive new fan experience, LIV X.
Trouble deciding which team to cheer on in 2023? LIV Golf has you covered!
Whether it’s the ever-popular 4 Aces, Fireballs GC, or the recently launched RangeGoats, the LIV X ‘find my team’ tool has you covered!
As someone who has yet to decide who I should throw my support behind moving forward, I decided to give the new tool a spin.
Upon getting started, in a very BuzzFeed-Esque manner, I was greeted with a series of questions. Everything from “What motivates you?” to “How do you celebrate a winning putt?” was posed to me along the way.
Finally, after eagerly waiting in anticipation, my new team was unveiled. The LIV X ‘Team Picker’ journey had led me to Torque GC.
The Torque team is captained by Joaquin Niemann and also features, David Puig, Sebastian Munoz, and Mito Pereira.
As a reminder, here is how each of the 12 LIV teams that will be competing for this year’s Team Championship title shape up heading into the new season.
LIV Golf will get its season underway at El Camaleon GC at Mayakoba, previous host of the PGA Tour’s World Wide Technology Championship. The Gallary Golf Club in Arizona will host LIV’s second event of the 2023 season next month.
This year’s 14-event LIV Golf schedule will also include the four major championships following recent announcements that the R&A and PGA of America would also continue to accept LIV members, this after both the Masters and USGA had previously come out with similar statements.
The new LIV season will begin Friday, February 24th, at 1:15 pm EST on the CW Network and CW App in the United States, and the brand-new LIV Golf Plus (for International viewers).
