It’s time for the 2023 Masters Tournament!!!

To prepare I’m going to break down the recent form and past experience at Augusta National of every golfer $7.5k and up on DraftKings this week. Plus Tiger Woods cuz duh!!!

Tiger Woods

Tiger ($7,500) played most recently at the Genesis Invitational and rode his irons gaining 2.4 strokes on approach. He finished in 45th place and it’s the only tournament he’s played in since the Open in July of 2022.

Tiger came 47th at Augusta last year and 38th in 2020. He had the incredible win in 2019, which is the most recent of his five wins at the Masters. Woods also has seven other top-10 performances at Augusta National.

He’s obviously not the player he once was but familiarity of Augusta goes a very long way. I don’t expect a win from Tiger (I wouldn’t mind one though) but I could definitely see him playing well and paying off his price.

The main concern is if his body can hold up through all four rounds.

Scottie Scheffler ($11,100)

Scottie has already won the WM Phoenix Open and PLAYERS Championship so far this year. His worst finish so far in 2023 is a 12th place finish at the Genesis Invitational.

He had good finishes prior to his win at Augusta coming 18th in 2021 and 19th in 2019 at the Masters.

He hasn’t lost strokes off the tee since the PGA Championship in May of last year. He’s currently 2nd in strokes gained off the tee and 4th in strokes gained approach over the last 24 rounds.

Jon Rahm ($10,800)

Rahm has been incredibly consistent at the Masters. In six appearances he has four top-ten finishes and has never finished worse than 27th.

Rahm also already has three wins this year. His worst finish was 39th at the Arnold Palmer but he lost 6.8 strokes off the tee. The Driver is one of Rahm’s strengths and that seems like an anomaly.
