Breaking down this week’s 2023 RBC Heritage Purse, Winnings, and Payouts by position at Harbour Town.

The PGA Tour’s new ‘Designated Events’ have come thick and fast ever since the calendar turned to 2023, and this week’s RBC Heritage marked the sixth event outside of the Players Championship and majors to have received the special designation.

Remarkably, the 20 million dollar purse on offer this week at Harbour Town is set to dish out more to the winner than the first major of the year did last week. Masters champion, Jon Rahm, walked away from Augusta having pocketed 3.24 million dollars, the winner of the RBC Heritage will leave South Carolina with a cool 3.6 million.

The newly elevated events on the schedule have delivered enthralling finishes time and time again with several of the best players in the world ascending to the top of the leaderboard come Sunday more often than not.

This weekend appears as though it is set to deliver more of the same with last year’s U.S. Open winner Matt Fitzpatrick leading the way over the likes of Patrick Cantlay, Jordan Spieth, Tommy Fleetwood, Scottie Scheffler, Rickie Fowler, Xander Schauffele, and others through 54 holes.

It’s still anyone’s guess as to who will be donning the famous tartan jacket when all is said and done. The only thing that is certain is that this year’s purse has received a handsome ten million plus- boost in comparison to last year’s RBC Heritage.

Here is how much each player who made it through to the weekend will take away from this week’s gigantic purse.
