This week, the LPGA Tour presents fantasy golf fans with the first major championship of the year, the 2023 Chevron Championship. Let’s take a look at this prestigious event from a fantasy golf perspective.

Before I discuss my fantasy golf player selections I wanted to emphasize that the purpose of this article is not to provide an exact lineup for a specific fantasy provider.

Having stated that, this article will provide multiple player options in an effort to assist the reader in generating a unique lineup that will hopefully have the potential to win a GPP (guaranteed prize pool) contest!

**It should be noted that the Chevron Championship was played at the Dinah Shore Tournament course in California from 1988-2022. This year, the Chevron Championship will be played at The Club at Carlton Woods in Texas. Keep that in mind as you construct fantasy golf lineups for this week’s first major championship.**

Here are my fantasy golf/DFS selections for the 2023 Chevron Championship!

Nasa Hataoka

Nasa Hataoka has accumulated three consecutive top-16 finishes on the LPGA Tour, including a seventh-place result at the 2023 LA Open two weeks ago.

Nasa Hataoka currently ranks seventh in total rounds under par (7) and fifth in total birdies made (85) on the LPGA Tour.

Lilia Vu

Lilia Vu arrives at this week’s major championship in rather good form. Let me be more specific. Since the beginning of February, Lilia Vu has played five tournaments (LPGA and European Ladies Tours combined).

In those five events just noted, Vu has accumulated five consecutive top-14 finishes, including a win at the 2023 Honda LPGA Thailand.

Atthaya Thitikul

Atthaya Thitikul arrives at the 2023 Chevron Championship on the heels of two consecutive top-16 finishes on the LPGA Tour, including a tenth-place result at the 2023 LA Open.

Due to the fact that Atthaya Thitikul played so well at the 2023 LA Open, I decided to take a hard look at Thitikul’s player statistics for the event relative to the field.

After four rounds of competitive golf played at the 2023 LA Open, in relation to the field, Thitikul ranked fourth in putts per GIR (1.59) and 16th in driving distance (256.3 yards).

Thitikul also finished fourth at the 2022 Chevron Championship.
