Breaking down this week’s 2023 Zurich Classic of New Orleans Purse, Winnings, and Payouts by position at TPC Louisiana.

The Zurich Classic of New Orleans team event is a nice change of pace from the weekly stroke play events that are the norm on the PGA Tour schedule.

Despite the absence of some of the bigger names in the sport, the 80 teams who made the trip down to Louisiana competed in an entertaining and tightly contested tournament.

Following three days of Best Ball and Foursomes action, it’s still anyone’s guess as to who will claim the championship belts this time around. Last year’s winners, Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele (-20) have their work cut out for them if they are to repeat the feat in the Pelican State on Sunday.

They find themselves six shots off the pace entering Sunday and will likely need another record-breaking performance if they are to successfully defend at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans.

Meanwhile, current leaders Wyndham Clark and Beau Hossler (-26) are in a position to win for the first time on the PGA Tour following a sensational Saturday 62 in Best Ball which saw the duo maintain their lead at the top heading into the final round at TPC Louisiana.

The affable team of Keith Mitchell and Sungjae Im sit just one shot behind the leaders at 25-under through three rounds. Three other teams find themselves three shots adrift of Clark and Hossler’s lead amongst a congested leaderboard.

A final Foursomes (Alternate shot) session on Sunday will determine this year’s Zurich Classic of New Orleans champions with the victorious team claiming the handsome 2,485,400 million dollar prize on offer.

The 2023 Zurich Classic of New Orleans features an 8.6 million dollar purse. Here is a look at what each team is set to earn by finishing position.
