Justin Rose is up to his highest spot in the Official World Golf Ranking since 2020. The Englishman is refinding some great form at age 42.

Last week, Rose contended at the PGA Championship en route to a T-9th finish. That was his third straight top-25 and fourth in five events, which includes T-6th at the Players Championship and T-16th at the Masters.

Rosie won the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am this year for his first PGA Tour win in more than four years.

He’s now going for his first multi-win season since 2017-18. The Charles Schwab Challenge is one of his better chances to do it.

Rose won at Colonial in 2018 with rounds of 66-64-66-64 to win by three. He’s made eight of nine cuts for his career in Fort Worth, including T-3rd (63-69-68-66) in 2020.

"“I’ve really enjoyed the golf course first and foremost,” Rose was transcribed by ASAP Sports in 2018. “I’ve enjoyed the strategy of it and the challenge of it. So far being able to sort of play smart but also play     it well enough to find some birdies out of it.”"

Rose is 14th on the PGA Tour in total strokes gained per round (1.305). Despite ranking outside the top 100 in SG off-the-tee, a stat that is not as meaningful this week, Rose is finding success being proficient throughout the rest of his bag.

He’s 20th in SG putting (.517) and third in sand saves (66.67%).
