This week, the PGA Tour travels to Ohio for the 2023 Memorial Tournament. Let’s take a look at this week’s tournament from a fantasy golf perspective!

Before I discuss my fantasy golf player selections I wanted to emphasize that the purpose of this article is not to provide an exact lineup for a specific fantasy provider.

Having stated that, this article will provide multiple player options in an effort to assist the reader in generating a unique lineup that will hopefully have the potential to win a GPP (guaranteed prize pool) contest!

Here are my fantasy golf player selections for the 2023 Memorial Tournament.

Patrick Cantlay

The 2021 FedEx Cup champion arrives at this week’s event in rather good form. Since the beginning of February, Patrick Cantlay has played seven tournaments on the PGA Tour. In those seven events just noted, Cantlay has accumulated five top 19 finishes, including a third-place result at the 2023 RBC Heritage in April.

In relation to this week’s current listed 2023 Memorial Tournament field, in the last 12 rounds played on the PGA Tour, Patrick Cantlay ranks seventh in bogey avoidance, fifth in birdie or better percentage, seventh in strokes gained putting, and fifth in strokes gained ball striking.

It should also be noted that Patrick Cantlay won the 2021 Memorial Tournament.

Adam Scott

Adam Scott has accumulated two top-eight finishes in his last three events played on the PGA Tour, including a fifth-place result at the 2023 Wells Fargo Championship.

In relation to this week’s current listed 2023 Memorial Tournament field, in the last 12 rounds played on the PGA Tour, Adam Scott ranks first in birdie or better percentage and third in strokes gained putting.

Keegan Bradley

Keegan Bradley has accumulated three top 29 finishes in his last six tournaments played on the PGA Tour, including a tenth-place result at the 2023 Arnold Palmer Invitational in March.

Keegan Bradley also finished eighth at the 2016 Memorial Tournament.

Rickie Fowler

Since the beginning of April, Rickie Fowler has played five events on the PGA Tour. In those five tournaments just mentioned, Fowler has accumulated four top 15 finishes, including a tenth-place finish at the 2023 Valero Texas Open in April.
