Pro golfer Mark Hubbard was hilariously caught on camera on Friday holing out from a greenside bunker; then flipping his caddie the bird.

34-year-old Mark Hubbard is playing some excellent golf once again this week in Silvis, Illinois, after missing his last two cuts out on tour.

Playing at this week’s John Deere Classic, Mark opened with a four under-67 on Thursday and was clicking on all cylinders once again during Friday’s second round. The native Coloradan added another four birdies to his card on the front nine as he continued to work his way up the leaderboard.

It was on the Par 3, 12th hole that Hubbard found a bit of trouble after his tee shot found the right greenside bunker leaving him with a tricky up and down for his par save. But Mark had other ideas as he produced a spectacular second from the bunker that found the bottom of the cup for the unlikely birdie.

Mark Hubbard hilariously caught on camera flipping his caddie the bird.

Immediately after watching his second for the birdie on the Par 3, Hubbard turned towards his caddie and sent a bird his way. Thankfully for us, the hilariously bizarre moment was caught on camera. Likely, without Hubbard’s knowledge at the time.

The birdie sent the 34-year-old to five-under for his round and well on course to equal or better his opening round tally.

Mark Hubbard has had some excellent results this year as he looks to close in on earning his first PGA Tour win in the near future. His highlights include a T11 at the RBC Heritage, a T9 at the Charles Schwab Challenge in May, and a T6 at the RBC Canadian Open last month, suggesting that something special may be just around the corner for the two-time career winner.

He is certainly no stranger to viral moments. Playing at last year’s Rocket Mortgage Classic in Detroit, Mark Hubbard famously made headlines when he holed out for an ace just moments after dropping his club on the ground in disgust.

Whether he is aware of his comical moment on Friday being caught on camera or not, Hubbard has made headlines once again. Fortunately for us, we were able to enjoy the pro golfer’s funny reaction this time as well.
