This week, fantasy golf fans will be presented with the 2023 Genesis Scottish Open. A stacked field of talent, including defending champion Xander Schauffele, will travel to Scotland in an attempt to win this week’s prestigious tournament.

The 2023 Genesis Scottish Open will be played at the Renaissance Club in North Berwick, Scotland. The golf course is a par 71 that measures approximately 7,237 yards.

Let’s take a look at this week’s PGA Tour event from a fantasy golf perspective!

Before I discuss my fantasy golf player selections I wanted to emphasize that the purpose of this article is not to provide an exact lineup for a specific fantasy provider.

Having stated that, this article will provide multiple player options in an effort to assist the reader in generating a unique lineup that will hopefully have the potential to win a GPP (guaranteed prize pool) contest!

Now let’s shift our attention to my favorite fantasy golf/DFS player selections!

2023 Genesis Scottish Open DFS Player Selections

Tyrrell Hatton

Tyrrell Hatton has accumulated an impressive five top-15 finishes in his last six tournaments played on the PGA Tour, including a third-place result at the 2023 RBC Canadian Open last month.

In relation to this week’s current listed 2023 Genesis Scottish Open field, in the last 50 rounds played on the PGA Tour, Tyrrell Hatton ranks fifth in strokes gained tee to green, fifth in strokes gained off the tee, fourth in strokes gained putting, and sixth in birdie or better percentage.

Hatton also finished 18th at the 2021 Genesis Scottish Open.

Adam Scott

The 2013 Masters Tournament champion arrives at this week’s 2023 Genesis Scottish Open in rather good form. Since the beginning of May, Adam Scott has played six events on the PGA Tour. In those six tournaments just noted, Scott accumulated four top-19 finishes, including a fifth-place result at the 2023 Wells Fargo Championship.

Joost Luiten

Joost Luiten has accumulated two consecutive top-eight finishes on the DP World Tour, including a second-place result at the 2023 BMW International Open two weeks ago.

I also like the fact that Joost Luiten has played well at the Renaissance Club in the past. More specifically, Luiten finished 19th at the 2020 Genesis Scottish Open.

Ludvig Aberg

Last week, the talented young Swede fired a final round 62 at the 2023 John Deere Classic en route to an eventual fourth-place result.

Additional golfers I like this week: Scottie Scheffler: Rickie Fowler: Tommy Fleetwood: Doug Ghim.
