Sungjae Im has been quite profitable at the Wyndham Championship.

The South Korean has three top-10s at Sedgefield and hasn’t finished worse than T-24th in four starts.

Last year, Im fired 63-69-65-68 to finish T-2nd and five shots back. He was seventh in the field in strokes gained per round tee to green (1.82) and eighth in SG off-the-tee (.89).

He’s never shot over par in 16 rounds. In 2019, he carded 62-67-70-65 for T-6th. Im followed with T-9th (69-64-66-65) in 2020 and T-24th (66-68-67-68) in 2021.

Im continues to pile up solid seasons, and he has another one on the PGA Tour in 2022-23. He has six top-10s, including four at designated events.

The 25-year-old also won the Woori Financial Group Championship this spring on the Korean Tour.

Im has three top-30s in his last five starts.

He is 20th on the PGA Tour in total SG per round (1.052), 29th in SG tee to green (.835), and 24th in SG off-the-tee (.436).

Im is a short, but accurate driver who thrives at a short course like Sedgefield.

He’s a career two-time winner but has yet to get it done this season. Im is due both to win in Greensboro or anywhere.

More notable stats show Im is 16th in average proximity from inside 100 yards (14’6”). In the event he finds the thick stuff this week, he’s 10th in average proximity from the rough (41’4”).

Three or four rounds in the 60s is essential to contend this week. Im is eighth in birdie or better percentage (34.54%).
