Fantasy Golf: 2023 Wyndham Championship DFS Player Selections

This week, the PGA Tour presents golf fans with the final event of the regular season, the 2023 Wyndham Championship.

Let’s take a look at this week’s PGA Tour event from a fantasy golf perspective!

The 2023 Wyndham Championship will be played at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina. The golf course is a par 70 that measures approximately 7,131 yards.

Sedgefield Country Club has been the host course for the Wyndham Championship since 2008.

Before I discuss my fantasy golf player selections I wanted to emphasize that the purpose of this article is not to provide an exact lineup for a specific fantasy provider.

Having stated that, this article will provide multiple player options in an effort to assist the reader in generating a unique lineup that will hopefully have the potential to win a GPP (guaranteed prize pool) contest!

Here are my fantasy golf/DFS player selections for this week!

2023 Wyndham Championship DFS Player Selections

Cameron Davis

The talented Australian has accumulated two top 17 finishes in his last three events on the PGA Tour, including a tenth-place result at last week’s 2023 3M Open.

In relation to this week’s current listed 2023 Wyndham Championship field, in the last 12 rounds played on the PGA Tour, Cameron Davis ranks seventh in strokes gained tee to green, second in birdie or better percentage, and fourth in strokes gained on par fives.

It should also be noted that Cameron Davis finished 15th at the 2020 Wyndham Championship.

Russell Henley

Since the beginning of April, Russell Henley has played nine events on the PGA Tour. In those nine tournaments just mentioned, Henley has accumulated six top 19 finishes, including an impressive fourth-place result at the 2023 Masters Tournament in April.

Eric Cole

Eric Cole has accumulated four top 30 finishes in his last seven tournaments played on the PGA Tour, including a sixth-place result at the 2023 RBC Canadian Open in June.

In relation to this week’s current listed 2023 Wyndham Championship field, in the last 50 rounds played on the PGA Tour, Eric Cole ranks12th in strokes gained approach, ninth in strokes gained putting, second in birdie or better percentage, and second in bogey avoidance.

Chris Kirk

Chris Kirk has accumulated two top 21 finishes in his last three events played on the PGA Tour, including a 14th-place result at the 2023 Rocket Mortgage Classic three weeks ago.

Chris Kirk also finished 15th at the 2018 Wyndham Championship.
