This week, the LPGA Tour travels across the border for the 2023 Women’s Scottish Open. Let’s take a look at this tournament from a fantasy golf/DFS perspective!

The 2023 Women’s Scottish Open will be played at the Dundonald Links in Ayrshire, Scotland. This golf course is a par 70 that measures approximately 6,584 yards.

Before I discuss my fantasy golf player selections I wanted to emphasize that the purpose of this article is not to provide an exact lineup for a specific fantasy provider.

Having stated that, this article will provide multiple player options in an effort to assist the reader in generating a unique lineup that will hopefully have the potential to win a GPP (guaranteed prize pool) contest!

Now let’s shift our focus to my favorite DFS/fantasy golf player selections for this week’s LPGA event!

2023 Women’s Scottish Open DFS Player Selections

Ayaka Furue

Since the beginning of May, Ayaka Furue has played seven events on the LPGA Tour. In those seven tournaments just noted, Furue has accumulated an impressive six top 14 finishes, including a sixth-place result at the 2023 U.S. Women’s Open four weeks ago.

Ayaka Furue also checks the box for me when it comes to key player statistics. Furue is currently ranked eighth in driving accuracy (83.38%), first in total rounds under par (35), 12th in putts per GIR (greens in regulation-1.76), and seventh in scoring average (70.32%) on the LPGA Tour.

It should also be noted that Ayaka Furue won the 2022 Women’s Scottish Open.

Nasa Hataoka

Nasa Hataoka has accumulated three top-eight finishes in her last six events played on the LPGA Tour, including a third-place result at last week’s 2023 Amundi Evian Championship.

Nasa Hataoka is currently ranked second in total birdies made (203), tenth in scoring average (70.39), and fourth in putts per GIR (1.75) on the LPGA Tour.

Megan Khang

The talented American arrives at this week’s 2023 Women’s Scottish Open on the heels of two consecutive top 13 finishes on the LPGA Tour, including a ninth-place result at the 2023 Amundi Evian Championship.

Additionally, Megan Khang finished 24th at the 2022 Women’s Scottish Open.
