Fantasy Golf: 2023 Fortinet Championship DFS Player Selections

This week, the PGA Tour returns to the golf calendar with the 2023 Fortinet Championship. Let’s take a look at this tournament from a fantasy golf perspective.

The 2023 Fortinet Championship will be played at the Silverado Resort (North Course) in Napa, California.  

Before I discuss my fantasy golf player selections I wanted to emphasize that the purpose of this article is not to provide an exact lineup for a specific fantasy provider.

Having stated that, this article will provide multiple player options in an effort to assist the reader in generating a unique lineup that will hopefully have the potential to win a GPP (guaranteed prize pool) contest!

Now let’s shift our focus to my favorite DFS/fantasy golf player selections for this week’s Fortinet Championship!

2023 Fortinet Championship DFS Player Selections

Max Homa

The 32-year-old American has accumulated five consecutive top 25 finishes on the PGA Tour, including a fifth-place result at the 2023 BMW Championship in August.

In relation to this week’s current listed 2023 Fortinet Championship field, in the last 36 rounds played on the PGA Tour, Max Homa ranks tenth in strokes gained putting and 12th in strokes gained tee to green.

It should also be noted that Max Homa won the Fortinet Championship in 2021 and 2022.

Sahith Theegala

The talented American has accumulated two consecutive top 13 finishes on the PGA Tour, including a 13th-place result at the 2023 FedEx St. Jude Championship four weeks ago.

Additionally, Sahith Theegala finished sixth at the 2022 Fortinet Championship.

Brendon Todd

Last month, Brendon Todd fired a second-round 63 at the 2023 John Deere Classic en route to an eventual seventh-place result.

Todd finished ninth at the 2022 Fortinet Championship.

Cameron Davis

Cameron Davis has accumulated three top-ten finishes in his last four tournaments played on the PGA Tour, including a seventh-place result at the 2023 Wyndham Championship.
